Obituary
Willis Henry Harvey, 86, of Richmond, died Thursday December 22, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Nellie Wingfield Harvey.
Henry was born in Appomattox County on January 16, 1925 a son of the late Edward Larkin and Manie Clark Harvey. He was a veteran of World War II, a longtime employee of City Wide Decorators and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Henry is survived by his sisters, Nettie H. Deadman of Petersburg, Martha H. Conner, Mary H. Phelps and husband, Twyman and Roberta Mitchell all of Appomattox, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, and wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis G. Harvey and James Edward Harvey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by his pastor the Rev. Dennis Tucker. Burial will follow in Old Herman Cemetery with Military Rites accorded by American Legion Post #104 and VFW #9855 combined honor guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service beginning at 1:00 P.M.
