William Robert Perrow, Sr., 82, of Concord, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at his residence. He was the husband of Lottie (Jean) Dees Perrow.
Born in Appomattox County, November 23, 1925, he was a son of the late William Adolphus Perrow, Jr. and Lois Moore Perrow. Robert was a lifetime member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church where he served as superintendent of Sunday School and on numerous committees. He was a member of the Reedy Spring Masonic Lodge #203 A.F. & A.M. and had received his 50 year pin. He was a farmer, served and chaired the ASCS Committee for Campbell County, and was an Army veteran.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, William (Bill) Robert Perrow, Jr. of Concord and Anne P. Harder and husband, Paul of Williamsburg and two grandchildren, Alexander and Victoria Harder.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Helen Perrow and a sister, Ora P. Hubbard.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Early's Chapel Cemetery by the Rev. Ron Litten.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
