Obituary
William Lee Dixon Jr., 38, of Appomattox, died February 10, 2015 in Trinity Mission of Rocky Mount. He was born in Lynchburg, on September 6, 1976, a son of the late Debbie Harvey Smith and William Lee Dixon Sr.
He is survived by three sisters, Paula Rankin and husband, Edward of Lynchburg, Patricia Smith and husband, Courtney of Altavista, and Amanda Overton of Appomattox ; a brother, Terry Dixon of Mass.; his grandmother, Anna Dixon of Appomattox; step-mother, Sharon Farthing of Altavista; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Dixon.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Glass. Burial will be in Gladstone Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations are made to help with Billy's final expenses.
