Wendy Carol Steppe, 51, of Appomattox, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at her residence. Born in Lynchburg, Va., on October 6, 1970, she was the daughter of Carolyn Maxwell and Douglas Marshall Steppe of Appomattox.

She is also survived by her children, Christian Scott and wife, Tayler and Shankia Steppe; three grandchildren, Scarlett Wrae Scott, Jase Daxton Scott, and Serenity Rayne; sister, Connie Marie McFadden; and a special aunt, Patricia Davidson all of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Dawson Antonio Scott.

Wendy was the former deli manager for Kroger in Appomattox.

A graveside funeral service officiated by the Rev. Mark Grooms will be held 2 pm Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Liberty Cemetery. Wendy requested that you please dress casual for the service.
