Warren Paul Mayberry 66, of Mountain Cut Road, Appomattox, died Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Jacquetta Guill Mayberry.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on June 1, 1954, he was a son of the late Roy Anderson Mayberry and the late Nora Mae Mann Mayberry. He was a member of Bethel Bible Church and a retired custodian with Appomattox County School system.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher Warren Mayberry and wife, Tanya and Ronald David Powell and Jamie Bane; a granddaughter, Madeline Alice June Powell; two brothers, Louis Mayberry and wife, Nancy and Ricky Mayberry and wife, Buckwheat all of Appomattox; a sister, Linda Mayberry and husband, Gene of Spout Spring; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by a sister, Alice Juanita Mayberry and a brother, Marvin Ray Mayberry.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Liberty Cemetery officiated by Pastor Orville Gregory. Robinson Funeral Home will be open from 1 pm until 4 pm on Sunday for those who wish to view the body. The family will receive friends and family at his residence.
