Obituary

Wallace Padgett Marsh, 35, of Appomattox passed away on May 11, 2023. He was the husband of Victoria Jane Evans.

Born in Lynchburg on July 13, 1987, he was the son of Owen Marsh and Cynthia Barbee Marsh. Wallace served his country as a member in the United States Army. He was an avid Lebron James fan and Dallas Cowboy fan. He coached basketball for many years with Lynchburg Parks and Recreation. He was known in Appomattox as "the walking man".

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a sister, Naomi Marsh of Altavista; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Joel Harmon whom he raised; a special uncle J.W. Evans; pets, Cricket, and Sissy; and Lisa Womack who was like a mother to him.

A graveside service will be held 12 pm, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia with Pastor Charles Dunning officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm on Monday, May 15, at Robinson Funeral Home.
