Walker Clay Thornhill, 44, of Coleman Mountain Road, Appomattox died Friday January 9, 2015 at his residence.
Walker was born in Newport News, on February 25, 1970, a son of Richard Allen Thornhill, Sr. and Brenda Gayle Nelson.
Walker was a contractor and entrepreneur involved in construction and sales.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ashley Thornhill and her fiancé, Josh Mazejka; a son, Eric Walker Thornhill and his fiancée, Christina Fitzgerald all of Appomattox; two grandchildren, J J Mazejka and Willie Thornhill; two brothers, Richard Allen Thornhill Jr. and Aubrey Wayne Thornhill and his wife, Lorrie; a sister, Tanya Thornhill Odell; an aunt Virginia Shelton and her daughter and husband, Berri and Randall Rice.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Home.
