Virginia Lee Woody Bryant, 84, of Oakville Road, Appomattox, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 18, 2017.
She was the devoted wife to her late husband and the love of her life, Clayton C. Bryant, Sr. for 64 years. Clayton could always make her smile when he called her "the prettiest girl in the world", and we take comfort in knowing that they are once again happily reunited. (Proverbs 31:10)
Jenny was a loving and protective mother of her three children, C.B., Ronnie, and Sharon, as well as an excellent grandma, great-grandma, and great-great grandma. Her homemaking skills were 2nd to none, and she spoiled all of her babies and grand-babies with her cooking. (Deuteronomy 5:16)
Outwardly Jenny's beauty was apparent to all that crossed her path, but those that had the pleasure of knowing her were truly the blessed ones. We got to see her inner beauty. We got to see the heart of fighter wrapped up in a beautiful little package! That was the real Virginia Lee Woody Bryant. (Jeremiah 29:11)
With strength, eloquence, and the will to live, Jenny graciously accepted everyday God gave her as a gift. Throughout her brave battle with Alzheimer's she persevered with dignity, and taught us all how precious life truly is. She taught us God has a plan for each and every one of us. Even up until her last moments on this earth, relationships were built as God moved amongst us. (Isaiah 41:10)
Be encouraged to live life to the fullest with a heart filled with love as Virginia did! But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
Virginia is survived by her three children, Clayton C. Bryant, Jr. "C.B." and his wife Jennifer, Ronnie Daniel Bryant, Sr. and his wife, Vickie, and Sharon Kay Bryant all of Appomattox; nine grandchildren, Shauna Dalton and her husband, Mike; Jennifer McCormick; Stephanie Gilliam and her husband, Duane; Kaytin Bryant; Clayton C.
