Virgilia Moore Tuck, 87, of Paradise Rd, went to be with her Lord on Saturday February 16, 2008. She was the wife of the late Henry Edgar Tuck.
Born in Appomattox, Co., October 1, 1920 she was a daughter of the late Marvin Watts and Ida Grow Moore. Mrs. Tuck was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by one daughter Kathy T. Meador and her husband, Lee of Concord; a loving sister, Doris M. Moore of Concord; one daughter-in-law, Joann C. Tuck of Richmond; three grandchildren, Robert W. Tuck, C. Derrick Meador and Nicholas C. Meador; five great-grandchildren, Katelyn M. and Tristyn C. Tuck; Nicholas Gage, Makinnley A. and Cole A. Meador; a special sister-in-law Christine H. Moore, and a special nephew Charles A. Tweedy.
She was preceded in death by a son Preston Wayne Tuck; four brothers, John P. Moore, Marvin W. Moore, Virgle A. Moore, and Lyle C. Moore; one sister, Betty Sue Tweedy.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Concord by the Rev. Robert J. Thorne. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Trinity United Methodist Church Monday, February 18, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. and other times at the residence.
