Victoria (Vicki) Ryan Jamerson, 86, of Lynchburg and formerly of Appomattox, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Heritage Green Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late James Robert (Bob) Jamerson.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on June 14, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Myrtle Morris and Horatio M. Ryan. She was a member of Grace Hills Baptist Church, the Appomattox Historical Society, and "The Quilters" a group of ladies who met on her back porch and made many quilts for people in the community.

She is survived by two children, Kenneth Lee Hawkins and wife, Mary Helen of Seattle, Wash. and Debra H. Schooler and husband, Ben of Eastover, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Hawkins, James Kenneth Hawkins and Irena, John Charles Hawkins, and Andrew Michael Hawkins.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Lung Association, 9702 Gayton Road, Henrico, VA 23238.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Heritage Green for the excellent and loving care of Vicki.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Grace Hills Baptist Church by the Rev. Adam Tyler.
