Victoria Pearson "Vickie" English, 64, of Appomattox, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Rodney Curtis English.

Born in Buckingham County, October 26, 1952, she was the daughter of Jacqueline "Jackie" Coleman Pearson of Dillwyn and the late John Lewis Pearson. Vickie was a member of Union Baptist Church and a veterinary tech with Appomattox Animal Hospital and a clerk at B&L Sales.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Matthew Curtis English of Appomattox; one brother, Jay Pearson of Richmond; one sister, Lynn P. Perkins and husband, David of Dillwyn; and two nephews.

The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers, Lottie Moore and Starler Marsh along with her neighbors and friends on Dean Johns Place for the love and care shown to Vickie and her family.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Barker and Pastor Billy Swan officiating. Burial will follow in the Pearson Family Cemetery, Dillwyn.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
