Tish Christian Inge, 65, of Appomattox passed away Wednesday April 27, 2011 with her sisters, brother-in-law and best friend by her side. Tish died from cancer after a nine year struggle.She was born to the late William David and Lucille Ryan Christian on April 5, 1946 in Appomattox.

In 2010 Tish accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of Rocks Baptist Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Appomattox High School and was a retired Respiratory Therapist from Centra Health. Tish also worked for a while with Dr. Peter Houck at The Johnson Health Center in Lynchburg.

She is survived by her children, Beth Ann Putnam and Sonny Caldwell both of Appomattox; Becky Sue Hamlett and her husband, Steve of Appomattox, sisters, Nancy C. Jamerson and her husband Pete and Iris C. Mann and her husband, Wayne all of Appomattox, her brother, William "Billy" Christian, Jr. of Florida, grandchildren, Sarah & Anna Putnam; Olivia, Andrew and Adam Hamlett; Tabitha and Creig Caldwell and her dear friend, Charlene "Charlie Brown" Smith of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Amy Glenn.

A memorial service will be held Sunday May 1, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in Rocks Baptist Church by the Rev. Ron Moore. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
