Tina Marie Bellemare Thompson, 56, of Harper Valley Road, Brookneal, VA died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Henry Thompson.

Tina was born in Manchester, N.H. April 25, 1958 a daughter of the late Carol Chagon and Yvon Euclide Bellemare. She was employed by Harris Trucking Company of Madison Heights, VA as the Accounts Payable Clerk and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by two sons and their wives, Brandon E. Thompson and Maegan of Appomattox and Patrick S. Thompson and Kayla of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Gabriella and Aiden Thompson, otherwise known by their Nana as "Sweetie" and "Buddy"; a brother, Mark Bellemare of Manchester, N.H.; special uncle, Robert Garland and wife, Carol of Illinois,; four nieces and four nephews; her "canine child' Sasha and her "grand dog", Chloe.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna B. Fraser and her husband, Mike and a brother, Ivan Bellemare, Jr.

The family wishes to acknowledge special thanks to Katie Hilliard, Tina's nurse on Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Lynchburg General Hospital.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday January 8, 2015 from 7-8:30 P.M. at Robinson Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Love and Truth Community Church, 3135 Fort Ave. Lynchburg, VA officiated by the Rev Fred Williams and Rev. Wayne Lanham.
