Timothy Robert "Turtle" Wirth, 58, of South Fork Road, Appomattox, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the home of his brother, Mike. He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl Ann Benford Wirth by five days.

Born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, on October 19, 1960, he was the son of Mary Anne Cooper and Earl Anthony Wirth, Jr. of Appomattox. Tim will be remembered as generous and hardworking and a good friend.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Michael James Wirth of Appomattox and Scott Alan Wirth of Daytona Beach, FL. He is also survived by two nephews; one niece; one great nephew; and two great nieces who all lovingly called him "uncle grumpy".
