Timothy Donn Olling

Timothy Donn Olling, 58, of Appomattox, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was the husband of Susan Diane Olling.

Born on February 1, 1968, in Valparaiso, Indiana, he was the son of the late Don and Alexandra Olling. He was a member of Farmville Presbyterian Church. Tim had a passion for history, trains, and motorcycles. When he retired, he wanted to expand his baking and cooking skills and try to grow a variety of plants. He did all of that.

Tim graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He worked for the Nevada State Parks and then was hired by the National Park Service. He was an Interpretive Park Ranger at National Mall and Memorial Park.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Stanley Olling (June), and his sister, Christine Martel all of Wanatah, Indiana. He is also survived by a niece, Victoria Jackson (James) of the United Kingdom, and nephew, Trent Olling (Emmi) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You always saw Tim wearing polo or Hawaiian shirts and jeans. Please dress casually for his service.

A memorial service will be held 11am, Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Peter Smith officiating.
