Timothy Linhburg "Timbo" Scruggs, III, 48, of Wood Road, Lynchburg, died Monday, June 28, 2021.

Born in Lynchburg, December 4, 1972, he was a son of Frances B. Lloyd and her husband, Chris, and the late Timothy L. Scruggs.  Timothy was owner/operator of Night Moves Towing.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by one son, Timothy L. Scruggs, IV of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Isabel Leona Scruggs of Manassas; two aunts, Bonnie Hendriks and Liz Harlow and husband, Sonny all of Appomattox; four uncles, Michael Chernault, Bill Chernault and wife, Riaza both of Appomattox, Mike Scruggs of Fairfax and W.I. Scruggs of Orange; and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, James "Jim" Massey whom he loved and treated Timothy like his own son; and grandparents, Roberta Burge Baird and husband, William and Leona Scruggs and husband, Linhburg, Sr.
