Timothy Alfred "Timmy" Moore, 67, of Concord, VA  gained his heavenly reward on Friday, November 7,2025 at his home after a valiant battle with heart disease and neuroendocrine cancer.

Born in Lynchburg, VA on October 4, 1958, he was the son of the late Alfred Mundy "Buster" Moore and the late Doris Aileen Moore.  He grew up in his parents' homeplace on the James River in Appomattox County.

Timmy was a retired employee of Greif Bros. after 37 years of service.  He was a farmer, having raised dark tobacco and beef cattle.  He was a dedicated meticulous hardworking man who took pride in his lawn as well as tractor and truck restoration.

Timmy was a man of faith and a devoted member of Trinity Methodist Church where he enjoyed serving with the trustees on numerous projects.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Jeanette Clark Moore, his daughter Kelsey Moore and her fiancé, Nathan Hunter of Appomattox.  He loved being a Grand-Paw to both Finn and Jack and they were the apple of his eye.

Additionally, he is survived by his sister Barbara Stallings of Belvidere, NC as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his wife's extended family as well as a special first cousin who was like a brother Leon Moore.

Timmy enjoyed visiting with his former coworkers and community neighbors and friends that meant so much to him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Trinity Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the church with burial to follow in the Trinity Cemetery, all officiated by Rev. John Flood.
