Thomas C. (T.C.) Torrence Sr., 69, of New Chapel Road, Spout Spring died at his residence on Thursday November 20, 2014. He was the husband of Vicki S. Torrence.

T.C. was born in Lynchburg on October 8, 1945 a son of the late Evelyn Jordan and Earl Lankford Torrence. He was the owner of Torrence Plumbing for 30 years. T.C. was a member of Central Baptist Church. He loved anything involving the outdoors, hunting and fishing and he especially loved being at the lake with his children and grandchildren, and he enjoyed researching family ancestry.

In addition to his wife, Vicki, he is survived by four sons, Thomas C. Torrence Jr. and fiancé, Amy Martin of Spring Mill; Kevin W. Torrence of Virginia Beach; Earl L. Torrence, II and wife, Christie; Todd C. Torrence and wife, Crystal all of Spring Mill; nine grandchildren, Morgan Tanilli, Raven Torrence, Chelsea Myers, Christian Tanilli, Skyler Torrence, Nevaeh Torrence, Caleb Torrence, River Torrence, and Talley Torrence; his sister, Neville T. Franklin of Appomattox; Best Friends and caretakers, Raymond and Bobby Jean Mullins and Vernon and Karen Dudley, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews including Neville's children, Heather Franklin and her daughter Katlyn Millner, Belinda Moore and Jamie Franklin.

A memorial service will be held 2p.m. Sunday November 23, 2014 at Central Baptist Church, 1273 Central Church Road, Appomattox, VA.
