Thomas Quinn Taylor, of 6030 Old Evergreen Road, Evergreen, died October 8, 2005, at his residence.
Mr. Taylor was born in Roanoke, VA, January 11, 1947, a son of the late Betty Shelton and Thomas Henry Taylor III. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, and a retired planning supervisor with Dominion Virginia Power.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Renee Taylor and Matthew Fernandez, and Gretchen Taylor and Curtis Gunn, Jr. all of Chesterfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael L. and Debbie Taylor of Altavista; a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie T. and Roger Scruggs of Appomattox; nieces and nephews, Matt Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Jennifer Layne and her husband Bryan, and Lee Scruggs and his wife April, great-nieces, Courtney Michelle Layne and Caylie Amber Scruggs; and three great-nephews, Corey Scott Scruggs, Casey Lee Scruggs and Conner Joseph Scruggs..
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday October 13, 2005, at Robinson Funeral Home, with Dr. Chris King officiating.
