Thomas F. Smith, 57, of Appomattox, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, in Lewis Gale Hospital.
Born in Norfolk, September 29, 1951, he was a son of the late Margaret L. Walker and William F. Smith. He was a member of the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church and a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by a good friend, Mike McFadden.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the Appomattox Seventh Day Adventist Church by Pastor Dale Long.
