Obituary
Thomas Carlton Little, 95, owner of the University Barbershop and 8 others in the Fairfax, Virginia area for over 40 years, died of congestive heart failure January 5, 2011 in Palm Coast, Florida. Mr. Little was born in Creedmoor, North Carolina on December 31, 1915.
During the 1930's and 40's he played country music having his own band and record label. Mr. Little enjoyed his Airstream trailer and was a member WBCCI for 37 years. He was along time member of the Rotary Club International of Fairfax. He was predeceased by his wife 51 years, Ollie Wootton, of Appomattox, Virginia. Survivors include son Thomas Jr. his wife Peggy, step-daughter Diane Craig, four grandchildren, and a brother Edward and his wife Mildred of Creedmoor, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2011, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, officiated by the Reverend Eugene Beverly.
