Thomas Randolph Cash, 69, of Boxwood Farm Road, Amherst, died Monday November 19, 2012 at Lynchburg General Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Janice Coleman Cash.

Thomas was born in Amherst County September 2, 1943 a son of the late Louise Atkins and Henry Malcolm Cash. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald A. and Ralph A. Cash.

He is survived by a son, David Cash of Amherst; two step-daughters, Dora Campbell and her husband Calvin Williams of Madison Heights and Becky Combs of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Malcolm Ray Cash of Madison Heights; three sisters, Betty Cash Rooney, Springfield, Ohio; Sharon Cash Foster, of Monroe and Darlene Cash Saucedo of Elon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Friday November23 at 2:30 P.M. in Liberty Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Friday, November 23, 2012 from Noon to 2:00 P.M.
