Thelma L. Mann

Thelma L. Mann 79, of Appomattox Health Care Center went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the widow of the late George Edward Mann. Born in Tenn., a daughter of the late John Enis and Nellie Lamb Letterman. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Thelma is survived by a daughter Shirley Baldwin and husband Bradley of Pamplin, a son Jackie Mann and wife Nita of Spout Spring; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; three brothers and their wives Hubert and Eileen Letterman of Chase City, Bobby and Tammy Letterman of Pamplin, and Jackie Letterman and friend Katherine of Brookneal; one sister Billy Jean Baldwin and husband Ernest of Pamplin; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers, Katherine Elder, Louise Fingar, Bill Letterman, E.J. Letterman and Herbert Letterman.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, at 2:00 pm in Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald Martin and Chris Harbin burial will follow at Pamplin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight (Sunday) at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Shirley and Bradley Baldwin.
