Terry Duval Guill, 76, of Cub Creek Rd., Appomattox and formerly of Charlottesville, died Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Peggy McCauley Guill.
Born in Appomattox County, June 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Thomas Andrew and Nixola Minnix Guill. Terry was a member and deacon of Liberty Baptist Church, a member of the Appomattox Gideons, and a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He retired in July from the VA Motor Vehicle Dealer Board.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Vicki Swing and her husband, David of Appomattox and Andrew Guill and his wife, Elizabeth of Forest; three grandchildren, Margaret Swing, Jared Swing and his wife, Megan and Taylor Guill; and two great grandchildren, Colin Swing and Sadie Swing.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, October 30, 2008 in Liberty Baptist Church by the Rev. Rusty Small. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
