Obituary
Susan Womack Barr, 57, of North Creek Rd, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Linnie (Lin) Wilson Barr for 39 years.
Born in Farmville, August 29, 1951 she was the daughter of Edmond (Billy) Womack and Anne Booker Womack. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Quilters Guild of Appomattox.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by two children; Christopher Barr and wife, Lisa of Charlottesville, and Amy McConville and husband, Troy of Spout Spring; a brother, Joey Womack and wife Sherry of Pamplin; four grandchildren, Taylor Barr, Sean Barr, Annabelle Paulette, and Lily Sue Barr.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Thorne.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from 7-8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence.
