Steven M. Raymond, 42, of Oakville Road, died, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Cindy Robertson Raymond.

Born in Wyandotte, Michigan on March 3, 1973 he was a son of Pamela Ann Hodgkinson of Michigan and Martin David Raymond. Steven was a Property Officer with Old Dominion Job Corps and a member of the Michigan National Guard. He loved helping young people. He was a devoted father, husband, son, mentor and was loved by all.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three daughters, Faye Louise Raymond and fiancé AJ Hill of Lynchburg, Haley Delenn Raymond and Athena Shirley-Ann Raymond both of Gladstone; a sister, Tonya Hampton and husband, AJ of Michigan; nieces and nephews, Natasha, Jacob, Cassandra, Jordan, Dakota, Curtis Jr., Lauren, Ashley, Brittney and Richard; a brother-in-law, Curtis William Robertson, Sr. and wife, Jan; a sister-in-law, Pamela Diane Mason and husband, David; and mother-in-law, Shirley Robertson.
He was preceded in death by a son, and father-in-law, Curtis W. Robertson, Jr.
A Celebration of Life barbeque will be held 2p.m. until close, April 2, 2016 at James River State Park.
