Obituary

Steven Todd "T-Gilly" Guill 45, of Appomattox went to be with the Lord and his mom and dad on September 21, 2016.

Born October 9, 1970 in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late James Ronald "Ronnie" Guill, Sr., and Geraldine "Gerry" Ayers Guill.

Todd was a 1988 graduate of Appomattox County High School, where he was a star baseball player. His love of baseball continued as he watched and coached his son on the baseball field. Todd was an avid hunter and a former member of Red Oak Hunt Club. He loved his Duke Blue Devils, Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and the Appomattox Raiders. There was a time you could find Todd enjoying his favorite past time, riding backroads of Appomattox County.

Todd was a carpenter by trade and worked alongside his father and brother for 18 years at Appomattox Home Improvement.

He is survived by his children which he loved and cherished; daughter, Autumn Danielle Guill; son, Austin James Guill, a special nephew who he considered his son, Quinton Womack; a granddaughter, Londyn Ayers Booker who was the light of his life; a brother, Ron Guill, a sister, Cheryl Mann and husband, Carol; a special nephew, Corey Massie; special friend and mother to his children, Rhonda Guill; uncles, Bobby Ayers and wife, Tammy, Mike Ayers and wife, Dale, Eugene Guill and wife Elaine; aunt, Brenda Ayers; forever mother-in-law, Edna Francis; numerous special cousins and extended special family; special friends Van Burke and Michele Watts for their loyal and continuous friendship.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Lockie Ayers and paternal grandparents, Warner and Vinnie Guill.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with Darryl Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends anytime at Todd's residence.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the funeral home.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Becky Rosser, Liberty Baptist Church and Evergreen Methodist Church for the help and support they have shown Todd through the years
