Stephen Allen Jones, 63, of Appomattox, formerly of Amherst passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Lynchburg, on September 17, 1960, he was the son of Anne Mae Cash Jones Clapp and the late Elmer Clarence Jones.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Debbie Pence and husband, Warren of Chapel Hill, NC; his brother, Tony Jones of Amherst, and his longtime companion, Lois Mays of Appomattox.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
