Stella Slough Price, 86, of Honeysuckle Lane, Pamplin, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the loving wife to the late Marshall E. Price, Sr.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on March 2, 1932, she was a daughter to the late Susie Gunter and Stewart L. Slough. She loved her family and enjoyed music, reading, and word searches. Stella was a retired seamstress with Courtland Manufacturing.

She is survived by a son, Richard Wayne Price, Sr. and wife, Norma; a daughter, Diane P. Ragland and husband, Robert Sr. all of Pamplin; five grandchildren, Stacie Ragland, Richard Price, Jr., Jarred Price and Ashley, Tracy Price, and Amy Lowe; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Alvin E. Slough of Rustburg; two nephews, Robert W. "Bobby" Bryant and Donna and Thomas E. Bryant and Kim; and her canine friend, Bentley Wayne.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Marshall Edward Price, Jr.; two grandsons, Robert L. (R.L.) Ragland, Jr. and Marshall "Eddie Price, III; and a sister, Christine S. Bryant.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Robinson Funeral Home by Pastor Tommy Bryant. A private burial will take place in Pamplin Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service and other times at her residence.
