Stanley August Weber, Sr., 85, of Oakville Rd., Appomattox, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Edna Frances Leidenheimer Weber.
Born in Bloomfield, NJ, on December 17, 1926, he was a son of the late August and Freda Richter Weber. Stanley was a US Army veteran serving in World War II and a retired engraver.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Wayne Edwin Weber and wife, Susan of Gladstone and Stanley August Weber, Jr. of Alexandria; a daughter, Linda Ann W. Hart and husband, John of Nutley, NJ; four grandchildren, Julie Gallagher and husband, Kevin, John Stanley Weber, Katherine Cort, and Ellen Ritter; cousin, Robert Dietrich and wife, Agnes; and nephews, Warren Leidenheimer and wife, Trudy and Fred Leidenheimer and wife, Diane. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Weber.
A private funeral service will be held at Robinson Funeral Home officiated by Katie Cort.
