Obituary
Dillwyn: Shirley Savage Mace, 64, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006. She was the wife of the late Neal Mace.
Born in Buckingham County, March 17, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lottie Kidd Savage. Mrs. Mace was a member of Spears Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Timmy Mace of Cumberland; two daughters, Cindy Wingfield and her husband, Mark of Dillwyn and Krissy Wooten and her husband, James of Farmville; a brother, Hal Savage of Gladstone; two sisters, Helen Lee of Florida and Barbara Bryant of Gladstone; a step-mother, Lucy Savage of Buckingham; two half sisters, Bernell and Frances; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Elgin.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Buddy Bryant. Burial will follow in the Savage Family Cemetery, Buckingham.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 7-8:30 pm.
