Shirley Shipmaker Jones, 96, of Appomattox died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, on August 25, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Lottie Rachel Booker Shipmaker and Harold E. Shipmaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Carlotta Ann Jones of Appomattox.
