Obituary

SPOUT SPRING: Shirley Mae Chenault Campbell, 71, of 201 Holcomb Rd., died Sunday, June 18, 2006. She was the wife of Norman Woodrow Campbell.
Born in Appomattox County, June 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Beauregard and Elizabeth Catherine Overstreet Chenault. Shirley was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and a retired employee from the Appomattox County School System.
In addition to her husband, Norman, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa C. Everhart and husband, Victor of Lynchburg; adopted daughter, Donna C. Rodriquez and husband, Hector; grandson, Taylor Rodriquez all of Goode; a brother, Ralph O. Chenault and wife, Jean of Buckingham Court House; sister-in-law, Jean M. Chenault of Appomattox; Godson, Brett Phelps; numerous nieces; three nephews; devoted friend, Ruth Eposito of Pensacola, FL and many other very close and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald G. Chenault.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. James W. Martin and the Rev. Robert P. Winston. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today(Tuesday) from 7-8:30 pm and other times at the residence.
