Shelby Hadley Tucker
Shelby Hadley Tucker, 96, of Spout Spring, went to be with the Lord, Saturday July 12, 2008. He was the Husband of Gladys Treadway Tucker, for 71 years.
Born in Washington, Co, TN, he was a son of the late James Hubert and Sallie Loretta Estepp Tucker. Mr. Tucker was a member of Central Baptist Church, where he was a former deacon, and Sunday School teacher, and was a retired farmer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Gordon Tucker, and his wife, Margaret, of Spout Spring; two daughters, Barbara T. Arnold, and her husband, Dennis, Jr., of Concord; Carolyn Sue Collins, and her husband, Edgar, of Forest; three brothers, Lee Tucker, of Delaware, Troy Tucker, of Spout Spring, Earnie Tucker, of Delaware; one sister, Clara Nichols, of Appomattox; Ten Grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Shelby was preceded in death by four brothers, Monroe, Lesley, Carroll, and Willis Tucker, and three sisters, Hazel Jobe, Viola Tucker, and Charity Tucker.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July, 15, 2008,in Central Baptist Church, with the Rev. George Kriedel officiating. Burial will follow in Central Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 untill 8:30 PM, tonight,(Monday), at Robinson Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
