Sharyl Elaine Hough, 79, of Pamplin, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Galesburg, IL, August 22, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Nelda Bone and Edward Joseph Neave. Sharyl retired as a Cardiac Care nurse from Lynchburg General Hospital and later worked for Wilbun's Supermarket.

She was survived by three children; Edward "Joe" Bern and wife, Kathy of Galesburg, IL, Patricia L. Taylor and husband, Clayton A. "Tony" of Pamplin and Laura Pepmeyer and husband, John of Galesburg, IL; one brother, Lawrence Edward Neave and wife, Kathleen of Galesburg, IL; 10 grandchildren, Stacy L. Anthony and husband, Eric, Todd A. Taylor, Lauren M. Humes and husband, Alex, Lindsay E. Fisher, John T. Pepmeyer, Jr., Amanda L. Bauchman and husband, Ryan, Joseph M. Bern and fiancé, Courtney, Michael A. Bern and fiancé, Erin; nine great-grandchildren, Matthew S. Anthony, Rachel L. Anthony, Maxwell L. Reese, Bryant K. Humes, Nora M. Humes, Jaidyn G. Bauchman, Caden M. Riley, Kinley J. Bauchman and Carter J. Bauchman.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Camden K. Humes.
