Obituary

Sarah Elizabeth Parris Wilson, 91, of Gum Branch Rd.,Appomattox, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Mack Henry Wilson.
Born in Washington County, June 25, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Vernie Alonzo and Essie Gray Parris. She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, John E. (Lonnie) Wilson and wife, Pauline of South Carolina, Rev. Richard C. Wilson and wife, Louise of Appomattox, and David G. Wilson and wife, Phyllis of Mineral; four daughters, Martha (Kitty) Tolley of Fredericksburg, Betty Maxine Stewart of Stafford, Edith Wright and husband, Donald of Madison, and Sandra Swift and husband, Beverly of Bowling Green; two brothers, Raymond Parris of Meadowview and Rev. Gordon Parris of Saluda, SC; two sisters, Sena P. Lloyd of Saluda, SC and Alta P. Skeen of Chilhowie; 23 grandchildren; 41; great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rufus, Charles, Bert, and Buford and two sisters, Ruby and Frannie.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Jeff Worley, Dr. Wayne Greene, and the Rev. Gordon Parris. Burial will follow in Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm.
