Sandra Gayle Tuggle Cox, 56, of Patteson School Road, Appomattox, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

Born in South Boston, June 6, 1963, she was a daughter of Josephine Lloyd Lankford and the late Eugene A. Tuggle.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Derek Fendlay of Lynchburg; two daughters, Amanda Cox McCarthy and husband, Greg of PA and Kendra Eastwood of Appomattox; Sandra's loving companion Thurman Eastwood of Chase City; two brothers, Brian Tuggle and wife, Joyce of Appomattox and Carl Myers and wife, Pat of Altavista; two sisters, June Oakley and husband, Larry of NC and Judy Hutson and husband, Drew of NC; three grandchildren, Cameron Fendlay, Catelaya Fendlay and Liam McCormick.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Hollywood Baptist Church with Rev. Robert E. Phillips, Sr., officiating.
