Obituary
Samuel William Kress, 68, of Railroad Lane, Pamplin, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Appomattox, September 15, 1949, he was a son of the late Virginia Ellen Childress and George William Kress.
He is survived by two brothers, John Thomas Kress, and James Ray Kress; five sisters, Ella Katherine Johnson and husband, Ray, Teresa Jennings, Virginia Ann Kress, Delores Ann Moon and Verta Marie Whittaker.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Kress and Roger Lee Moon; and one sister, Janie Mae Kress.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home with Pastor Pete McDaniels officiating.
