Obituary
Sally Covington Collins, 87, of Farmville, died on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Southside Community Hospital. Born December 24, 1923 in Prince Edward County, she was a daughter of the late John M. Covington and Lou Rassie Price Covington.
Sally is survived by one sister, Judy Rutledge and husband, William of Williamsburg; one brother-in-law, Newton Hubbard of Richmond; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved canine companion Abby.
In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by one brother, David Covington and four sisters, Lois C. Gilliam, Ionia C. Phillips, Earle C. Hubbard and Florence C. Baldwin.
Sally was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church and was retired from Craddock Terry Shoe Co.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Olive Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
