Ruth Joyce Harse Thorne
Ruth Joyce Harse Thorne, 77, of Appomattox, died Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Long Island, New York, February 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles Irving and Dora Louise Waldron Harse.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Marjorie Thorne of Appomattox, Tom and Katy Thorne of Long Island, NY; four grandchildren, Jennifer Thorne, Samuel Thorne, Sarah Thorne, and Jacob Thorne, one great-grandson Michael J. Andrews III.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home today (Saturday) from 7-8:30 p.m.
