RUDOLPH L. STEELE, Sr.

Rudolph Lee "Rudy" Steele, Sr., 75, of Bethany Rd., Rustburg, died Wednesday March 14, 2012. He was the husband of Elaine Wills Steele.

Rudy was born in Campbell County on August 12, 1936 a son of the late James Thomas Steele, Sr. and Allie Rosser Steele. He was a retired Bridge Superintendent for Wilkins Construction.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Rudolph L. "Scooter" Steele, Jr. of Concord; Roger Dale Steele and Randall Scott "Red" Steele both of Rustburg; one sister, Sally S. Booth and her husband, Gerald of Concord; two brothers, James Thomas Steele and his wife Margaret and William Hunter Steele and his wife, Brenda all of Rustburg; two grandchildren, Jessica S. Hollon and her husband, Anthony and Christopher Lee Hargis; a sister-in-law, Hazel and her husband, Earl Williamson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Steele and a daughter-in-law, Melissa S. Steele.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday March 17, 2012 at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. George Kreidel.
