Ruby Lucado Reynolds, 93, of Wildway Road, Appomattox, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Babcock Manor.  She was the loving wife of the late George Harold Reynolds for 62 years.

Born in Appomattox County, May 27, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Annie "Kate" Lucado and Edward E. Lucado.  Ruby was a lifetime member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She worked for Appomattox Garment Company.

She is survived by three daughters, Gloria R. Deaner and husband, Cecil, Dale R. Kent and husband, John both of Appomattox, and Rosiland R. Whitley of Ashburn;  five grandchildren, Rodney Deaner and wife, Donna of Appomattox, Brian Goodrich and wife, Megan of Charlotte, NC, Brent Goodrich and wife, Kerri of Lynchburg, Eleanor Rosiak and husband, Luke of Great Falls, Graham Whitley and wife, Connie of Vienna; eight great-grandchildren, Miranda Deaner, Ethan Goodrich, Gavan Goodrich, Falan Goodrich, Bentley Goodrich, Everleigh Goodrich, Olivia Rosiak and Avery Rosiak; and one sister, Nelda Garrett of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Art Cavanaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
