Ruby E. Page, 79, of Piney Mountain Road, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Thomas Lewis Page.

Born in Appomattox, June 16, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Virginia Louise Stinson and Charles William Hall. Ruby was a member of Red Oak Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Courtland Manufacturing.

She is survived by three sons, William T. Page and wife, Cheryl of Appomattox, George Randolph (Randy) Page and wife, Sherry of Gladys, Dennis E. Page of Appomattox; a daughter, Tina L. Merchent of Appomattox; 10 grandchildren, Charlotte Ann Page, Daniel Thomas Page, Billie Jean Mitchell and husband, Jason, Sherry Lynn Vaughan and husband, Derek, Gina McKinney and husband, Johnny, Jennifer Nicole Page, Ashley Dawn Page, Jessica Jamison and husband, Paul and Charles (Cody) Merchent and wife, Bailey.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mary Kay Page.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Red Oak Baptist Church with Dr. Rusty Small and Dr. Chris King officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Red Oak Baptist Church.
