Ruby Mason Williamson, 98, died Sunday Morning, August 7, 2011 in the Appomattox Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Stanley Epps Williamson.

Born May 12, 1913 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas S. and Mattie Harvey Mason. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons and their wives; Bennie Ray and Janet Williamson of Concord, Larry Thomas and Louise Williamson of Rustburg, and Charlie Carroll and Nancy Williamson of Appomattox; seven grandchildren, Lisa Slayton, Charles Williamson, Tammy Coffer, Christina Moore, Becky Shelton, Wendy Robertson and Sherry Shull; 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Arthur and Lizzie Cunningham and two brothers, Duval Mason and Sidney Mason.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm and other times at the home of Charlie and Nancy Williamson.
