Obituary
Pamplin: Roseann Policastro Whitmeyer, 72, of 15933 Thomas Jefferson Hwy., died Monday, March 5, 2007 in Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rose Policastro. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Farmville and was a cook for the Prince Edward County Head Start program.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rose Whitmeyer-McRae and husband, Samuel of Mount Holly, NJ and Lori Vogt and husband, Keith of Pamplin; a brother, Joseph Policastro and wife, Barbara of PA; six grandchildren, Kristen Vogt, Michelle Brown, Eric Brown, Kelly Vogt, Kayla Vogt, and Evan Brown and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, at Robinson Funeral Home by Father Carl DeSouza. Burial will follow in Cullen Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until time of the service.
