Rose Burks McFadden, 69, of Appomattox died on Wednesday, February 22 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward Allen McFadden, Sr.

Born on January 1, 1954, in Lynchburg she was the daughter of the late William Burks and Martha Michael Burks. Rose loved all her cats and little dog BoBo.

She is survived by three children, Abigail Ayers (Chris) of Evergreen, Edward A. McFadden, Jr. (Amanda Laird) of Appomattox, and Karen Goin (Don) of Evergreen; 13 grandchildren, Tiler, Dakota, Spring, Autumn, Matthew, Andrea, Austin, Lily "Tae", Sophie, Derek, Vanessa, Brennen, and Jarred; and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Sebastian.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm., Sunday, February 26, 2023, at the Appomattox Moose Lodge.

A private graveside will be held at a later date.
