Rosa Goin Campbell, 82, of Red House Road, Appomattox, died Thursday May 21, 2015 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Kermit Hayden Campbell.
Rosa was born in Evergreen October 31, 1932 a daughter of Mary Virginia Taylor Goin and Ruben Mosley Goin. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, American Legion Post #104 Auxiliary, OES #10 and was a retired employee of Amelia Dress Co.
In addition to her husband, Kermit, she is survived by two sons, Rev. Ronald Hayden (Ronnie) Campbell and his wife, Ellen of Boydton; Gary Dale Campbell and his wife, Donna of Hammond, LA; four grandchildren, Megan Campbell, Morgan Campbell, Mandy Campbell, Sally Harder and her husband, Brian; two sisters, Barbara G. Justice and her husband, William of Madison Heights and Evelyn G. Hamlett of Lynchburg and her best friend, Peggy Guill of Appomattox.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, Joel Goin, Lloyd Goin, Frances G. Seay, Carrie Chenault, and Mary Goin.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday May 24, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Rusty Small. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home from 4-6pm Saturday May 23, 2015 and at other times at the residence.
