Obituary
Ronnie Eugene Lambert, 63, of Watt Abbitt Rd., Appomattox, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Maude Fields Lambert.
Born in Mercer, West Va., on June 7, 1948, he was a son of the late Nellie Lambert Lester. Ronnie attended Gethsemane Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived a son, Randy Eugene Lambert (Kate) of Oakland, FL; a daughter, Rebecca Renee Jordan (Cory) of Evington; three grandchildren, Hailey, Christian, and Bailey; a step-brother, Jerry Lloyd Lester; a step-sister, Karen Sue Lester both of Appomattox and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church by the Rev. Carlton Duck with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to help the family with medical and final expenses.
