Ronald Keith Mann, 80, of Appomattox, died Monday, November 15, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., on September 29, 1941, he was a son of the late Nora "Kitty" Clark Mann and Willis "Pete" Mann. He worked as a phone technician for over 40 years, retiring from Verizon. Ron loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed camping at Buggs Island.

He is survived by three children, Shane (Ashley) Mann, Carol (Steve) Leonard, and Jimmy Clark; 11 grandchildren, T. J., Kelly, Sarah, Adam, Morgan, Katie, Shelby, Kristlynn, Kaleb, Zane, and Jase; one great-grandson, Grayson.; a sister, Mary Ann Mann-Allison; and a brother, James Mann.

Predeceased by two sons, Ronald Mann, Jr. and Timothy Mann and two brothers, Michael Mann, Sr. and Craig Mann.

His family would like to thank his ex-wife, Connie Clark and Centra Hospice for helping to care for their dad throughout his recent cancer diagnosis and final days.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, in the Mann Family Cemetery officiated by Pastor Gene Beverly. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery one hour before the service.
