Ronald Alden King, 70, of Chilton Road, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Pansy Woody King.

Born in South Boston, June 14, 1946, he was a son of the late Norma Wilson and Samuel Clifton King. Ronnie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired from Process Piping and Welding.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Ronnie Darrell King and wife, Kirsten of Culpeper and Eric Clifton King of Appomattox; one brother, Samuel Raymond King and wife, Mattie of Randolph; four grandchildren, Alyssa Goodwin, John Ross King, Willow King and Kolton Squire.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy McGahan officiating. Burial will follow in Reedy Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
